    Butter Pecan Drop Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup butter, softened at room temp.
    • 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves


    Instructions


    1. Combine the flour and salt

    2. In a large bowl, ceam the butter and brown sugar.

    3. Beat in egg to the sugar mixture and gradually blend in the dry ingredients.

    4. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

    5. Break off walnut sized pieces of cookie dough and roll into balls.

    6. Place 1 1/2 " apart on un-greased baking sheet.

    7. Flatten the balls of cookie dough with the bottom of a glass dipped in flour and press a pecan into the center of each cookie.

    8. Bake for 10-12 min. until lightly browned.

    9. Cool on wire racks
