Butter Pecan Drop Cookies

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened at room temp.
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Combine the flour and salt
- In a large bowl, ceam the butter and brown sugar.
- Beat in egg to the sugar mixture and gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Break off walnut sized pieces of cookie dough and roll into balls.
- Place 1 1/2 " apart on un-greased baking sheet.
- Flatten the balls of cookie dough with the bottom of a glass dipped in flour and press a pecan into the center of each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 min. until lightly browned.
- Cool on wire racks
