    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cups milk
    • 1/3 cup cornmeal
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg.
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 cup molasses
    • 2 tbl. melted butter or marg.


    Instructions


    1. Scald 3 cups of milk in top of double boiler.
    2. Add cornmeal, sugar, spices and salt, molasses and butter.
    3. Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens, about 20 min.
    4. Pour into greased baking dish.
    5. Add remaninig cup of milk, without stirring.
    6. Bake about 3 hours. At 350 degrees.
    7. Serve warm with milk, cream or ice cream.
