List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs Sirloin Steak Cubed
- 2 tbl. sp. cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 2-14 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 tbls. sp garlic powder
- 1 jalapeno, seeded & diced
- 1/2 bell pepper diced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. blk. pepper
- 4 tbl. sp. ground cumin
- vegetable oil
Instructions
- Pour enough oil to coat bottom of a large skillet.
- Coat steak with cornstarch put in pan over medium heat until brown. stirring constantly.
- Drain meat on paper towel.
- Clean skillet add the steak back into the pan.
- Add other ingredients.
- Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat, simmer 30 minutes. stirring often.
- Remove lid and simmer an additional 30 minutes uncovered until sauce is thick and meat is tender
Final Comments
Serve with warm tortillas and cheese.
