Flour Tortillas

- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. lard or shortening
- 3 Tsp. baking powder
- 1 to 1 1/4 cups luke warm water
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients and add shortening, working it into the flour.
- Stir in 1 cup water and form into a ball. If necessary use more water.
- Knead well on floured board and make balls the size of an egg. Let them stand for 25 minutes, the rool them out with a rolling pin until they are about the size of a plate.
- Place on hot un-greased skillet on top of the stove for about 2 min on each side.
