Recipe Introduction

This is a fun thing for the kids to do and helps the birds find food in the wintertime.

List of Ingredients

Large pine cones
Peanut butter
Bird Seed
String or twine




Recipe

Apply the peanut butter to the pine cone with a table knife, pushing the peanut butter in between the petals of the cone. Roll the cone in a pan of bird seed. Shake off the excess. Tie the string around the base or top of cone. Hang from a tree branch. The squirrels like these also!
