    Best Porcupine Meatballs

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 c uncooked long grain rice
    1/2 c water
    1/3 c chopped onions
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1/8 tsp garlic powder
    1 lb ground beef
    2 Tbsp cooking oil
    1 (15-oz) can tomato sauce
    1 c water
    2 Tbsp brown sugar
    2 tsp worcestershire sauce

    Recipe

    In a medium bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Add
    ground beef and mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. In large Dutch oven, brown meatballs in oil; drain. Combine tomato sauce, water, brown sugar and worcestershire sauce; pour over meatballs. Cook on med-high for five minutes. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.
