    Recipe Introduction

This is a great breakfast dish, whether at home for just the family or for a special gathering. It's easy and a great way to start your day.

    List of Ingredients

1 pkg Pillsbury biscuits or crescent rolls
    1 lb ground sausage
    2 c frozen broccoli
    1/4 c chopped onions
    3 Tbsp cream cheese
    2-3 Tbsp sour cream
    1/2 c shredded cheese

    Recipe

Place frozen broccoli in a strainer/colander and rinse under cold water to thaw and let sit. Begin cooking sausage and chopped onions together in a skillet until sausage is brown, fully cooked with no pink left. Drain any fat or grease off of the sausage and place in a large mixing bowl. Add thawed broccoli, cream cheese, and sour cream to the sausage and stir until blended. Sprinkle a little flour on a clean dry surface to place your raw biscuits or crescent rolls on. If using biscuits ensure that all biscuits are placed next to one another-touching and flattened with a rolling pin so that you do not see a distinction between biscuits. It should ultimately look like flattened, elongated, rectangular dough. If you are using crescent rolls keep them laid flat and roll with a rolling pin to ensure they are flat and wide in the same shape as the biscuits would be. Now place the sausage mixture down the center and top with the shredded cheese. Pick up sides of the dough and close the mixture inside. Place the roll on a baking sheet and bake according to the Pillsbury package which is usually about 400 degrees for about 8-11 minutes or until brown. Eat and enjoy!!!
