    Stir-Fry Sausage and Vegetables

    Recipe Introduction

    This is my family's super-quick go-to meal whenever I have to make dinner in 15 minutes or less (which is often).

    List of Ingredients

    1 (16-oz) pkg smoked sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces
    3-4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp olive oil
    1/2 bottle sweet and sour sauce (we use Kraft brand)
    1 (16-oz) pkg frozen stir-fry vegetables
    1 jar chunk pineapple
    cooked rice

    Recipe

    Saute garlic in olive oil. Add sausage. Cook until slightly browned. Add frozen vegetables and sweet and sour sauce. Stir until evenly coated. Cook over medium to high heat, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are cooked to your liking. Add pineapple and cook 3-4 minutes. (At this point, you can also add extras - such as water chestnuts if you like.) Serve over rice.
