Cream cheese pound cake

1-1/2 sticks butter
8 oz. cream cheese
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder

This is an incredible recipe.It's such a very great cake, wonderful fine texture, nice colour, easy and tastes like Dr.Oetker's(like Sara Lee in America?).Anyways, I like commercial style sometimes and this is just like store-bought cake.Please, don't try to lower the fat and sugar amount, pound cake is pound cake and as we don't eat daily it won't harm you.Talked enough...
Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese.This will take a while.Add sugar (superfine is best) and salt and vanilla.Cream well.Add eggs, two at a time, beating until every batch is thoroughly incorporated before you add the next.Add flour mixed with baking powder on low, beating and scraping until well mixed.Pour in well-greased and floured bundt pan and
bake at 325° for 1-1/2 hours.
This keeps long and can be frozen very well!
