Orange Slices Cake

List of Ingredients
1/2 lb butter or margarine
4 eggs
3 1/2 cups plain flour
1 box whole dates
1 can Angel Flake Coconut
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups chopped nuts
1 lb orange slices candy
Glaze:
1 cup orange juice
2 cups 10-x powdered sugar
Recipe
Cut dates and orange slices candy into small pieces. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add flour, milk and soda. Roll candy, nuts and dates in flour. Add, along with coconut to batter. Mix well. Bake in 250º oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Glaze while hot.
Glaze instructions:
Mix well, pour over cake in pan and let stand overnight.
Remove from pan and store in refrigerator.
