    Peppermint Kisses

    List of Ingredients




    Whites from 2 large eggs, at room temperature
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp cider vinegar
    1/3 cup sugar
    3 peppermint candy canes, finely crushed

    Recipe



    1. Arrange oven racks to divide oven in thirds. Heat to 225º F. Line 2 cookies sheets with foil.
    2. Beat egg whites, vinegar and salt in a large bowl with mixer on high speed until soft peaks form when beaters are lifted. Gradually add sugar; beat 5 minutes or until stiff, smooth and glossy. Fold in 1/3 cup crushed candy.
    3. Drop by teaspoon fulls close together onto lined cookie sheets. Sprinkle with rest of candy.
    4. Bake both sheets at once, 1 1/2 hours or until kisses are dry. Cool on sheets on a rack. Peel off foil. Store loosely covered in cool dry place up to 2 months.
