    Kool-Aid Playdough

    Source of Recipe

    Child Care Class 1984

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 cups of flour
    • 1 cup of salt
    • 2 cups of water
    • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
    • 2 TBS of vegetable oil
    • 4 different flavors of Kool-Aid
    • food coloring

    Instructions

    1. In large pot, combine flour, salt, water, vegetable oil, and tartar.

    2. Using medium heat, stir constantly until mixture becomes VERY thick.

    3. Remove from heat. Let it cool---just enough to handle.

    4. Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Add different flavors of DRY kool-aid and food coloring to each part and knead. I let the kids do this until they get tired and then I finish kneading the colors in.

    5. Store in ziploc baggies.

    Final Comments

The kids love the smell that the kool-aid makes.
