    Creamy Cranberry Salad

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
    • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
    • 1 medium apple, peeled and chopped
    • 2 cups minature marshmallows
    • 2/3 cup sugar
    • 1/8 tsp salt
    • 1/4 cup of walnuts
    • 2 cups of whipping cream, whipped


    Instructions


    1. In a bowl, combine cranberries, pineapple, apple, marshmallows, sugar, salt and walnuts. Mix well.

    2. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    3. Just before serving, fold in the whipped cream.

    4. YIELD: 10-12 servings



    Final Comments


    NOTE: Instead of the whipping cream, I substituted 2 cups of Cool Whip and folded it into the mixture right before I set it on the table. Tasted great!
