Creamy Cranberry Salad

List of Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 medium apple, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups minature marshmallows
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup of walnuts
- 2 cups of whipping cream, whipped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine cranberries, pineapple, apple, marshmallows, sugar, salt and walnuts. Mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Just before serving, fold in the whipped cream.
- YIELD: 10-12 servings
Final Comments
NOTE: Instead of the whipping cream, I substituted 2 cups of Cool Whip and folded it into the mixture right before I set it on the table. Tasted great!
