Recipe Introduction
A simple yet great tasting Cream of Crab Soup.
List of Ingredients
1 lb. Crab Meat
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Flour
1 1/2 cup Chicken Broth (warm)
1 qt Half and Half
1 cup Milk
1 Tbsp Old Bay Seasoning (more or less to taste)
Recipe
Pick through the crab meat to remove shells. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a pot. Stir in the flour until a smooth thick paste. Slowly pour in the chicken broth, stirring in until the paste is smooth and begins to bubble. Slowly stir in the Half and Half...until the soup is warm and slightly thickens. Add the cup of milk. Add the Crab meat and Old Bay Seasoning.
Continue to cook over a low heat, stirring often to keep from sticking.
Best if refridgerated over-night and reheated the next day.
