Sweet and spicy Sloppy Joes

List of Ingredients
- 1 lbs. Ground turkey
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. Garlic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp. unsalted chili powder
- 1/2 can NSA Tomato paste (Small Can)
- 1 16oz can NSA Diced tomatoes or stewed tomatoes, you could use fresh tomato's if you would like
- 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 cup diced mushrooms
- 3 packets Splenda
Instructions
- Sauté onion and bell pepper.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Drain and rinse.
- Add the garlic powder or garlic, cayenne pepper, paprika, chili powder, water, tomato paste, and tomatoes' to the ground turkey mixture.
- Cook and stir till mixed, add Mushrooms, parsley and splenda and continue to cook on low to simmer for 20 minutes.
