Chunky Spaghetti Sauce (spicey)

Recipe Introduction
I really only pour my spices in to taste. I dont usually measure so I am guessing on the amounts. I like some spices better then others. So use your taste buds to make it your own.
List of Ingredients
- 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes (no salt)
- 2 cans 8 oz tomato sauce (no salt)
- 1 Medium to large onion diced
- 1 1/2 tsp basil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 bay leaf
- 2 Tbsp. fresh minced garlic
- 1 T balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 c red wine
- 1 tsp crushed Pepper Flakes (to taste)
- 1 t onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Tomato and Herb
- 1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb
- 1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Onion and Herb
- 1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Spicey Blen
- 1 pound of Mushrooms ( I like Porchinis because they hold up better, but you can use the kind you like or leave out if you want to)
Instructions
- Put all ingredients into saucepan. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to just simmer. Continue to simmer uncovered for 30-40 minutes letting flavors blend and sauce thicken. (The longer you simmer, the thicker the sauce will get). Makes 4-5 servings
- If you want meat sauce, add your correct portion of seasoned crumbled meat (ground turkey or ground beef seasoned with onion, garlic and pepper) to your prepared dish.
