List of Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 lb cubed steak (round steak that has been pounded with mallet), cut into serving-size pieces
- 1-1/2 Tbsp salad oil
- 1, 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 c sour cream
Instructions
- Combine flour, garlic salt and pepper. Dredge steak in mixture.
- Heat oil in skillet. Brown steak, remove. Stir in tomato sauce and soup mix; bring to a simmer. Return steak to skillet, cover, and simmer 15 minutes.
- Remove steak to serving platter. Stir sour cream into tomato mixture and heat through (do not boil). Pour over steak. Makes 4 servings.
Final Comments
There will be plenty of sauce which could be used on noodles or rice if accompanied with steak.
