    MOTHER'S CUCUMBER SALAD

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 large cucumbers, peeled & sliced very thin
    • salt
    • 1 c. sour cream (may need a little more)
    • chopped fresh dill to taste


    Instructions


    1. Put sliced cucumbers in bowl. Stir in about 2 tsp salt. Place saucer or small bowl on top of cucumbers and then place a heavy object such as a jar of mayonaisse on saucer or in small bowl to weight down in effort to extract liquid from cucumbers to wilt them.

    2. Put in refrigerator for a couple hours.

    3. When ready to put together, remove cucumbers from refrigerator. Remove saucer/small bowl and heavy object. Rinse cucumbers with water a couple times to remove most of the salt. You want them to be limp.

    4. Mix in sour cream and fresh dill.
