Chili Con Queso
CHILI CON QUESO
INGREDIENTS:
VELVEETA CHEESE 1 lbs. 500 g
LIGHT CREAM ¾ cup 175 ml
CHOPPED GREEN CHILES 4 oz. 120 g
FINELY CHOPPED GREEN PEPPER ¼ cup 50 ml
CHOPPED PEPPERS 4 tsp. 20 ml
(mild or hot red pepper)
PREPARATION:
Cut velveeta into chunks, place in double boiler. Under very low heat, melt the cheese. Should take a couple hours.
Add the cream and chopped chiles, and the peppers if desired.
Cook until heated through.
Serve with taco chips.
