List of Ingredients
- 8 oz flour
- 4 oz butter or margarine
- 6 oz sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 oz currants
- milk (if needed)
- caster sugar to dredge
Instructions
- Sieve flour and rub into butter.
- Stir in sugar and currants.
- Mix with egg to a stiff dough
- Roll out an eigth of an inch thick and cut into rounds
- Bake 15 minutes at reg 4
- Sprinkle with caster sugar
