    Soup Kitchen's Beef & Barley Soup

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb lean ground beef, cooked, drained
    • 2 cups diced onion
    • 2 cups diced carrots
    • 1 cup minced celery
    • 1 tsp granulated garlic
    • 1/2 tsp white pepper
    • 1 Tbls worchestershire sauce
    • 3 Tbls brown sugar
    • 1 gallon beef stock
    • 2 16 oz cans diced tomatoes or tomatoe puree
    • 2 cups barley
    • parsley for "good looks"


    Instructions


    1. Brown ground beef, drain. Saute vegetables with seasonings. Add remaining ingredent, simmer till done.
