Sausage Cheese Cornbread

- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 1/2 cup self-rising cornmeal
- 2 eggs
- 1 (8 oz) can creamed corn
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheadder cheese
Instructions
- Place sausage and onions in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain well and set aside. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. Lighrly grease a 9x13 inch pan or casserole.
- In a large bowl, combine green pepper, cornmeal, eggs and creamed corn. Sprinkle batter with sausage, onions and cheese. Pour on remaining batter.
- Bake in pre-heated oven until brown, about 35-45 minutes.
