    List of Ingredients


    • 2/3 cup butter
    • 1 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 4 eggs
    • 5 cups all-purpose flour
    • 2 cups heath bits/alomond toffee bits


    Instructions


    1. Beat butter at medium speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar, baking powder, and baking soda until combined. Beat in eggs. Stir in flour. Add heath bits/almond bits. Shape dough into 2 rolls and flatten. Bake in 375 degree oven, 20 minutes or until tooth pick come out clean. Cool for 1 hour. Cut each roll into vertical slices 1/2" thick. Place slices cut side down on cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 8 minutes. Turn cookie sheet and cook 8 more minutes or until ligh brown or crisp. Transfer cookies to wire rack to cool. Makes 72 cookies.
