Chocolate Chewy Peanut Bars

Ready overnight, makes about 49 cookie bars.
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup cornsyrup
- 3/4 cup jif peanut butter (creamy)
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 3/4 cups unsalted peanuts
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, combine the cornsyrup, peanut butter and chocolate chips. Bring to a boil, stiring constantly,. Continue to boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, oats and peanuts. Turn onto a 10x15 cookie sheet with 1 inch sides. When cool enough to touch, grease your hands and pat the mixture down flat in the pan.
- Refridgerate overnight. Let stand for 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
