    Recipe Introduction


    Good crockpot chili.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Lbs boneless beef chuck or round, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
    • 2 cans (15.5 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
    • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
    • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 2 tsp chili powder
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 tsp ground cumin
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1 cup thick and chunky salsa


    Instructions


    1. In a 4-5 quart crockpot, combine all the ingredents except the salsa; mix well. Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low setting for 8-9 hours, until beef is tender.
    2. Just before serving add in the salsa, cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.


    Final Comments


    This is good with a little shredded cheese,a spoon of mustard, diced onions.
