    Pecan Filling

    Recipe Introduction

    This recipe is for a three layer cake. If using with a two layer cake, freeze the remaining filling and use later. I use this filling with a yellow cake and milk chocolate frosting.

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup sugar
    1 cup evaported milk
    3 egg yolks
    1 stick parkay
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups chopped pecans (food processor works great)

    Recipe

    Mix all ingredients except pecans. Simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until thick. Remove from heat and add pecans. Let filling cool. Use between cake layers. Frost cake with milk chocolate frosting.
