    Amish Chicken Corn Soup

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lbs. cut up chicken
    • 5 cups water
    • 1 med. onion,chopped
    • 2 Tbls. chopped parsley
    • 2 c. corn
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 c. flour
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 1/4 cup milk


    Instructions


    1. Cook chicken in boiling water till done. Remove bones and skin. Strain the stock.
    2. Return Chicken and stock to the pot. Add onions,celry and corn.
    3. Simmer till all vegetables are tender.
    4. Mix flour with egg and milk. Rub mixture with a fork until it crumbles.
    5. Drop crumbles in soup.
    6. Cook 10 more minutes, covered.
