- 1/4 CUP BUTTER OR MARGERINE SOFTENED
- 1/4 CUP SHORTENING
- 1 CUP MILK
- 1 1/2 TSP. VANILLA EXTRACT
- 3 EGGS
Instructions
- PUT ALL INGREDIENTS INTO A LARGE MIXING BOWL. BEAT ON LOW SPEED ON MIXER, SCRAPING BOWL CONSTANTLY, UNTIL WELL COMBINED.
- BEAT ON HIGH SPEED FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 MINUTES.
- BAKE AT 350 DEGREES IN 2 GREASED AND FLOURED, 8 INCH LAYER PANS.
- WHEN COMPLETLEY COOL. SPLIT LAYERS MAKING 4 LAYERS.
