    • 1 PKG. WHITE CAKE MIX
    • 1 CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE WITH JUICE
    • 2 CUPS SUGAR
    • FROSTING:
    • 1 PKG. CREAM CHEESE
    • 1/2 CUP BUTTER, SOFTENED
    • 4 CUPS CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
    • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
    • 1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS


    Instructions


    1. BAKE CAKE ACCORDING TO PACKAGE INSTRUCTIONS. PREPARE IN A 13X9 INCH PAN. ALLOW TO COOL.
    2. COMBINE PINEAPPLE AND SUGAR IN A POT. BRING TO BOIL OVER MEDIUM HEAT. SPOON OVER COOLED CAKE.
    3. IN A LARGE BOWL CREAM BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE. ADD POWDERED SUGAR AND BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH. STIR IN PECANS.
    4. SPREAD FROSTING OVER CAKE.
