- 1 PKG. WHITE CAKE MIX
- 1 CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE WITH JUICE
- 2 CUPS SUGAR
- FROSTING:
- 1 PKG. CREAM CHEESE
- 1/2 CUP BUTTER, SOFTENED
- 4 CUPS CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
Instructions
- BAKE CAKE ACCORDING TO PACKAGE INSTRUCTIONS. PREPARE IN A 13X9 INCH PAN. ALLOW TO COOL.
- COMBINE PINEAPPLE AND SUGAR IN A POT. BRING TO BOIL OVER MEDIUM HEAT. SPOON OVER COOLED CAKE.
- IN A LARGE BOWL CREAM BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE. ADD POWDERED SUGAR AND BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH. STIR IN PECANS.
- SPREAD FROSTING OVER CAKE.
