- 3 STICKS BUTTER
- 2 CUPS SUGAR
- 5 LARGE EGGS
- 3 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
- 1 TSP. BAKING POWDER
- 1 CUP CREAM
- 1 TABLESPOON VANILLA
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 325 DEGREES.
- BUTTER AND FLOUR A TUBE PAN
- CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT AND SMOOTH
- ADD EGGS, ONE AT A TIME, BEATING AFTER EACH ONE.
- COMBINE FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER. ADD HALF TO BATTER AND BEAT WELL.ADD CREAM AND VANILLA TO THE BATTER AND MIX WELL. ADD THE REST OF THE FLOUR MIXTURE. BEAT WELL
- ADD CRUSHED OREOS AND MIX JUST UNTIL BLENDED . DO NOT OVERMIX.
- BAKE FOR 1 HOUR AND 10-15 MINUTES OR UNTIL CAKE TESTS DONE.
- LET COOL IN PAN FOR 15 MINUTES. TURN ONTO WIRE RACK AND COOL COMPLETELY.
