- 1/2 LB. BUTTER
- 1 2/3 CUP SUGAR
- 5 EGGS, BEATEN UNTIL LEMON-COLORED
- 2 CUPS CAKE FLOUR
- 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
- 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
- 1/2 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 1/2 TEASPOON ALMOND EXTRACT
Instructions
- CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR WELL.
- ADD EGGS
- ADD FLOUR WITH BAKING POWDER AND SALT.
- BEAT ALL TOGETHER AND ADD FLAVORINGS WHILE BEATING.
- POUR INTO A WELL GREASED TUBE PAN AND BAKE IN A 325 DEGREE OVEN FOR 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL CAKE TESTS DONE.
