- 1/2 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
- 1 CUP BUTTER
- 2 CUPS PACKED BROWN SUGAR
- 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
- 2 EGGS
- 2 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
- 2 1/2 CUPS UNSIFTED FLOUR
- 3 CUPS ROLLED OATS
- 1/2 CUP JELLY, ANY FLAVOR
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
- IN A MEDIUM BOWL, MIX PEANUT BUTTER AND CONDENSED MILK TOGETHER, SET ASIDE.
- WITH AN ELECTRIC MIXER ,BEAT BUTTER IN A LARGE BOWL FOR 30 SECONDS. ADD BROWN SUGAR AND BAKING SODA, BEAT UNTIL COMBINED
- BEAT IN THE EGGS AND VANILLA
- BEAT IN AS MUCH OF THE FLOUR AS YOU CAN WITH THE MIXER, THEN STIR IN THE REST BY HAND
- STIR IN THE OATS AND MIX WELL WITH LARGE SPOON.
- PRESS 2/3 (ABOUT 3 1/2 CUPS) OF THE OAT MIXTURE IN THE BOTTOM OF AN UNGREASED 15X10 INCH BAKING PAN
- CAREFULLY SPREAD PEANUT BUTTER OVER OAT MIXTURE
- DROP JELLY IN SMALL DOLLOPS EVENLY OVER THE PEANUT BUTTER
- DOT WITH REMAINING OAT MIXUTRE
- BAKE FOR 25 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOP IS LIGHTLY BROWNED
- COOL AND CUT INTO BARS
