- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 1/2 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
- 1 CUP BUTTER
- 4 BEATEN EGGS
- 2 CUPS GRANULATED SUGAR
- 1/3 CUP LEMON JUICE
- 1/4 CUP FLOUR
- 1/2 TSP. BAKING POWDER
- 2 TABLESPOONS POWDERED SUGAR.
Instructions
- SIFT TOGETHER THE 2 CUPS OF FLOUR AND THE POWDERED SUGAR. CUT BUTTER INTO THE MIXTURE
- PRESS INTO THE BOTTOM OF A 9X13 INCH PAN AND BAKE FOR 25 MINUTES AT 350 DEGREES.
- MEANWHILE, BEAT TOGETHER THE EGGS, GRANULATED SUGAR AND LEMON JUICE.
- SIFT THE FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER TOGETHER AND STIR INTO THE EGG MIXTURE.
- POUR MIXTURE OVER BAKED CRUST.
- BAKE FOR 25 MINUTES MORE AT 350 DEGREES.
- REMOVE FROM OVEN AND SPRINKLE WITH POWDERED SUGAR.
