    • 1 CHICKEN, CUT UP
    • 1 1/2 CUPS ALL- PURPOSE FLOUR
    • 8 RED POTATOES, PEELED AND QUARTERED


    Instructions


    1. IN A LARGE SKILLET HEAT THE OIL FOR FRYING
    2. SEASON CHICKEN WITH SALT AND PEPPER
    3. DREDGE CHICKEN IN FLOUR
    4. FRY CHICKEN TILL GOLDEN BROWN ON BOTH SIDES.
    5. WHILE THE CHICKEN IS COOKING BOIL THE POTATOES IN A LARGE POT OF SALTED WATER UNTIL SOFT, DRAIN, BUT SAVE THE POTATO WATER.
    6. WHEN CHICKEN IS DONE REMOVE FROM PAN
    7. REMOVE ALL THE GREASE FROM YOUR SKILLET
    8. PUT CHICKEN AND POTATOES BACK INTO THE SKILLET AND COVER WITH THE POTATO WATER.
    9. SIMER UNTIL GRAVY IS THE RIGHT CONSISTENSY
    10. THE LONGER THIS DISH SIMMERS THE BETTER IT IS.
