- 1 CHICKEN, CUT UP
- POULTRY SEASONING
- 1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
- 2 TSP. SALT
- 2 TSP. BLACK PEPPER
- 1 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
Instructions
- SPRINKLE CHICKEN WITH POULTRY SEASONING.
- PUT REMAINING DRY INGREDIENTS IN A BROWN PAPER BAG.
- DROP CHICKEN PEICES IN BAG ONE AT A TIME AND COVER EACH PEICE WITH FLOUR MIXTURE. PUT EACH PEICE ON A BAKING SHEET AND LET SET FOR 15 MINUTES.
- HEAT OIL OVER HIGH HEAT IN A LARGE SKILLET UNTIL IT BUBBLES WHEN A LITTLE FLOUR IS SPRINKLED IN.
- ADD CHICKEN PEICES AND LOWER HEAT TO MEDIUM. COOK FOR 7-10 MINUTES ON ONE SIDE. TURN OVER AND COOK FOR 7-10 MINUTES ON THE OTHER SIDE. CHICKEN SHOULD BE NICELY BROWNED. REMOVE FROM SKILLET AND DRAIN ON PAPER TOWELS.
