    • 1 POUND CATFISH FILLETS
    • 3 SLICES BACON, CHOPPED
    • 1 CUP CHOPPED ONION
    • 1/2 CUP CHOPPED GREEN BELL PEPPER
    • 1 (25 OZ)CAN TOMATOES
    • 2 CUPS PEELED AND SLICED POTATOES
    • 1 CUP WATER
    • 1/4 CUP KETCHUP
    • 2 TABLESPOONS WORCESTSHIRE SAUCE
    • 1 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1/2 TEASPOON PEPPER
    • 1/2 TEASPOON THYME


    Instructions


    1. WASH THE CATFISH FILLETS AND CUT THEM INTO 1 INCH PIECES, SET ASIDE
    2. FRY THE BACON FOR 2OR 3 MINUTES IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN. ADD ONION AND BELL PEPPER TO PAN WITH BACON AND COOK UNTIL TENDER.
    3. ADDD REMAINING INGREDIENTS (EXCEPT FOR THE FISH) AND COOK TO A SIMMER. COOK COVERED FOR 30 MINUTES.
    4. ADD FISH AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES.
    5. CORRECT YOUR SEASONINGS IF NECESSARY.
