- 1 POUND CATFISH FILLETS
- 3 SLICES BACON, CHOPPED
- 1 CUP CHOPPED ONION
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED GREEN BELL PEPPER
- 1 (25 OZ)CAN TOMATOES
- 2 CUPS PEELED AND SLICED POTATOES
- 1 CUP WATER
- 1/4 CUP KETCHUP
- 2 TABLESPOONS WORCESTSHIRE SAUCE
- 1 TEASPOON SALT
- 1/2 TEASPOON PEPPER
- 1/2 TEASPOON THYME
Instructions
- WASH THE CATFISH FILLETS AND CUT THEM INTO 1 INCH PIECES, SET ASIDE
- FRY THE BACON FOR 2OR 3 MINUTES IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN. ADD ONION AND BELL PEPPER TO PAN WITH BACON AND COOK UNTIL TENDER.
- ADDD REMAINING INGREDIENTS (EXCEPT FOR THE FISH) AND COOK TO A SIMMER. COOK COVERED FOR 30 MINUTES.
- ADD FISH AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES.
- CORRECT YOUR SEASONINGS IF NECESSARY.
