Cabbage And Rice Soup

List of Ingredients
5 ci[s shredded cabbage
1 onion, sliced thin
8 cups beef broth 3 tablespoons butter
1 cup grated cheese (your favorite)
1/2 cup uncooked rice
salt and pepper, to taste
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Recipe
1. Melt butter in med. saucepan
2. Add cabbage and onion cook until lightly brown and slightly tender.
3. Add broth and seasonings. cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Add rice and continue simmering, until rice is done.
Serve in soup bowl, top with grated cheese
