    • 1/4 CUP BUTTER, OR MARGARINE
    • 1 PINT OF SHUCKED OYSTERS, UNDRAINED
    • 2 CUPS MILK
    • 1/2 CUP HALF AND HALF
    • 1/2 TEASPOON OF SALT
    • DASH OF PEPPER
    • TABASCO SAUCE TO TASTE, IF DESIRED


    Instructions


    1. MELT BUTTER IN A SAUCEPAN OVER LOW HEAT.
    2. STIR IN THE OYSTERS, COOK STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. COOK JUST UNTIL THE EDGES OF THE OYSTERS CURL.
    3. ADD MILK AND HALF AND HALF. SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER ADD HOT SAUCE IF DESIRED.
    4. COOK UNTIL HOT.
