List of Ingredients
- 1/4 CUP BUTTER, OR MARGARINE
- 1 PINT OF SHUCKED OYSTERS, UNDRAINED
- 2 CUPS MILK
- 1/2 CUP HALF AND HALF
- 1/2 TEASPOON OF SALT
- DASH OF PEPPER
- TABASCO SAUCE TO TASTE, IF DESIRED
Instructions
- MELT BUTTER IN A SAUCEPAN OVER LOW HEAT.
- STIR IN THE OYSTERS, COOK STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. COOK JUST UNTIL THE EDGES OF THE OYSTERS CURL.
- ADD MILK AND HALF AND HALF. SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER ADD HOT SAUCE IF DESIRED.
- COOK UNTIL HOT.
