- 5-6 CUPS WATER
- 2 HAM HOCKS
- 1 BUNCH COLLARD GREENS
- 1/4 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
- SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
Instructions
- PLACE HAMHOCKS AND WATER IN A LARGE POT. BRING TO BOIL OVER MEDIUM HEAT. COVER AND LOWER HEAT TO SIMMER. SIMMER FOR 30 MINUTES
- ADD THE COLLARDS AND SALT AND PEPPER. SIMMER FOR 2 HOURS, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.
- ADD VEGETABLE OIL AND SIMMER FOR 30 MINUTES MORE.
