    Recipe handed down from my mother, Sue

    List of Ingredients




    Deep dish pie crust
    3 Tablespoons butter
    salt
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 cup light brown sugar
    1 cup light corn syrup
    1 cup chopped pecans
    3 eggs

    Recipe



    Melt butter,add salt and vanilla
    Beat 3 eggs and add butter mixture
    Add sugar, corn syrup and pecans
    Stir mixture

    Pour into pie shell

    Bake at 350 degrees until pie settles (about 45 minutes)

    Suggestion:
    Cover edges of crust with foil while baking to prevent burning or too dark of a crust.
