    Great on a cold New England Day!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 large bunches broccoli, chopped
    • 2 Tbsp. butter
    • 1 sm. onion minced
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 Tbsp. flour
    • 4 cups chicken stock
    • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
    • salt and pepper


    Instructions


    1. Boil or steam broccoli until tender.
    2. As broccoli cooks, melt butter in soup kettle.
    3. Saute onion and garlic until tender.
      Sprinkle with flour and stir over low heat until blended.
    4. Add stock and continue stirring until mixture is smooth.
    5. Add cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
    6. Add broccoli and olives.
      Heating slowly and thoroughly.
    7. Season with salt and pepper.
    8. Serve!
