List of Ingredients
- 5 cups processed swiss american cheese
- 2 cups warer
- 1 cup Sauterne (chablis wine)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbl. butter
- 1/4 tsp. Accent
- 1 dash white pepper
- 1 dash nutmeg
Instructions
- grate cheese
- bring water, wine, butter and seasoning to a boil
- add cheese and sit into a double boiler (can use stainless steel or ceramic pot)
- stir thouroughly with wooden spoon until cheese melts into a smooth heavy sauce
- (if fondue seems too thick ad more wine if too thin add more cheese)
Final Comments
must use a double boiler!
