    Sourdough Pancakes

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    2 cups sourdough starter
    2 tablespoons maple syrup
    3 tablespoons vegetable oil
    2 large eggs
    1/2 teaspoon sea salt -- (regular is fine)
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon baking powder

    In a large bowl whisk startwer, syrup, oil, and eggs to combine.
    Mix dry ingredients and whisk into wet ingredients. Batter should be thicker than heavy cream and very elastic.

    Preheat a griddle and oil it. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto griddle for each pancake. Cook on medium-high heat. When bubbles form and cover the surface flip the pancakes over. Cook until brown on second side.
