Cookie Stamp Shortbread Excellent!!!

NOTES : TERRIFIC! Crisp and buttery. You might sprinkle a tiny bit of sugar over the stamped cookies just before baking but it isn't necessary. Dough seems very dry but it works perfectly.
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 C Butter -- NOT margarine
3/4 C Granulated Sugar
3 1/2 C All-purpose FlourRecipe
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add flour gradually, one cup at a time. Mix this until well blended, but do not overmix.
Roll into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Stamp with warm cookie stamp or flatten with the bottom of a glass.
Bake at 325 f. for 15 to 20 minutes.
