    NOTES : The girls absolutely loved both watching this mixture suddenly turn into Gak and playing with it.

    List of Ingredients




    2 2 qt bowls -- per 2 girls
    1 teaspoon measuring spoon -- per 2 girls
    1 1cup liquid measuring cup with markings -- per 2 girls
    1 quart size zip lock bag per girl -- per 2 girls
    1 wooden stir stick -- per girl
    MIX IN BOWL #1:
    1 cup Elmer's White Glue
    1 warm water
    a few drops green or other food coloring
    MIX IN BOWL #2:
    1/4 cup warm water
    2 teaspoons borax (in laundry detergent aisle)

    Recipe



    Pour water/borax mixture into the bowl with the glue/water mixture and stir until formed.

    Divide and store in Zip-Lock bags.

    This makes 2 dinner plates full of Gak. You can, of course, divide it into smaller portions.
