    A family recipe...sometimes ya gotta have a jello mold! We had this for many Thanksgiving dinners!

    SOUR CREAM RING

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    1 3 oz pkg lemon Jello
    1 #2 can crushed pineapple, reserve juice
    1 c sour cream
    1 small jar marachino cherries -- halved

    Prepare jello using juice as cold liquid. Beat in sour cream. Place in freezer to chill to egg white consistancy. Fold in pineapple and cherries. Pour into ring mold or individual molds. Chill until set. Unmold on a bed of lettuce. Top with a dollop of mayonnaise and another cherry.

    NOTES : This is an old family favorite which was used for many years at holiday meals. Great with ham.
