Seven Layer Casserole

Recipe Introduction
I can't remember where I even got this recipe, but we love it and usually fix it at least once a month.
Use a 2qt. casserole with a tight fitting lid. Grease well and then make layers of the following:
1st layer: 1c uncooked rice
2nd layer: 1 can drained corn
Add salt and pepper as needed
3rd layer: 1 8oz. can tomato sauce mixed with 1/2 c. water
4th layer: 1/2 c. chopped onion and 1/2 c. green pepper
I always add garlic powder and Mrs. Dash to taste
5th layer: 1 lb. hamburger(uncooked) crumbled
may add favorite spices and pepper
6th layer: repeat 3rd layer
7th layer: 4-6 slices of bacon, halved
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr. Uncover and cook 1/2 hour more till bacon is crisp.
