    Dips: Caramel Apple Dip

    List of Ingredients

    1 bag caramels (14 oz)
    1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 T. granulated sugar
    1 t. vanilla
    3/4 cup chopped dry roasted nuts
    About 5 apples, cored and sliced

    Recipe

    Gradually melt the caramels in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until
    soft. Be careful not to scorch! Stir in the cream cheese, sugars, vanilla, and
    nuts. Dip the apple slices into the caramel mixture. This serves as a yummy ice
    cream topping as well. Makes 8-10 servings. There is no batter snack on a
    crisp fall day. It can be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks in an
    airtight container.
