Dips: Hot Cheesy Clam Dip

1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 tbs. margarine or butter
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 c. catsup
1 tbs. Worcestershire squce
2 (6 oz) cans minced clams, well drained
4 oz. American cheese, cubed or sliced
Recipe
In med. saucepan, saute green pepper and onion in margarine until tender. Stir in cayenne pepper, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and clams; cook over med. heat until hot and bubbly. Add cheese, stirring constantly until melted. Reduce heat; cover. Simmer 10 - 15 min. or until mixture has lightly thickened. Serve warm with melba rounds or assorted crackers.
