Cocoa: Hot Double Chocolate

List of Ingredients

1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Dash salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup half and half
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 ounce bittersweet chocolate
Whipped cream, optional




Recipe

Combine sugar, cocoa powder, salt and 1/2 cup milk in bowl. Beat
until smooth and lump-free.

Pour into small, heavy-bottomed pan. Add remaining 1 cup milk, half
and half and vanilla and simmer until mixture is hot, not boiling.
Add bittersweet chocolate and stir to melt.

Pour into 2 mugs. Garnish with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
Makes 2 servings.
